ONE Development Introduces AI-Integrated ONE Residence in Abu Dhabi

One Residence Abu Dhabi

ONE Development has officially entered Abu Dhabi’s real estate market with the launch of ONE Residence, a 31-storey residential tower located on Al Reem Island. The project marks the developer’s first development in the emirate, following its earlier work in Dubai, and signals a strategic expansion into the capital’s high-end residential sector.

The launch positions ONE Residence as a technology-forward development, with artificial intelligence integrated into the building’s core identity rather than a surface feature.

AI as a Structural Concept, Not a Lifestyle Gimmick

Unlike conventional smart homes that focus on in-apartment automation, ONE Residence presents AI integration at the development level. The emphasis is on how the building interacts with future mobility, infrastructure and urban systems rather than promising AI-driven control over daily household functions.

ONE Development has described the project as part of a broader vision for intelligent urban living, where AI supports long-term adaptability and innovation within the built environment.

Aerial Mobility Sets the Project Apart

The defining feature of ONE Residence is its fully integrated aerial mobility ecosystem. The tower includes rooftop infrastructure designed to support electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, autonomous passenger transport and drone-based logistics.

This system has been developed in collaboration with mobility infrastructure specialists and is intended to future-proof the building for next-generation transport as urban air mobility gains regulatory and commercial traction.

Rather than positioning aerial access as a novelty, the project treats it as a functional extension of future city movement.

Strategic Location and Market Positioning

Situated on Al Reem Island, ONE Residence offers waterfront surroundings and proximity to Abu Dhabi’s central business and lifestyle districts. The location aligns with the emirate’s focus on mixed-use, high-density developments that integrate residential living with commercial and mobility infrastructure.

The project is being marketed towards investors and residents seeking long-term value in innovation-led real estate, rather than short-term luxury appeal alone.

A Signal of Where UAE Real Estate Is Heading

The launch of ONE Residence reflects a wider shift in the UAE property market. Developers are increasingly competing on technological vision, infrastructure readiness and future mobility compatibility, not just design and amenities.

By anchoring AI integration around aerial mobility and structural planning, ONE Development is positioning itself within that next phase of real estate development.

ONE Residence does not promise a fully automated lifestyle. Instead, it presents a building designed for a future where cities operate differently, data informs infrastructure decisions, and residential towers must evolve alongside emerging technologies.
