Requesting a correction

Use our Contact page and provide the article URL, the passage you believe is inaccurate, the proposed correction, and reliable supporting evidence.

How corrections are handled

The editorial team reviews the evidence and, where a material error is confirmed, updates the article. Significant corrections should include a clear note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or style changes may be made without a correction note when they do not alter the meaning.

Updates that add new information to an otherwise accurate report may be labelled as updates rather than corrections.
