The Crowd at Gitex 2025

Abu Dhabi’s government pavilion revealed a no-code “AI-in-a-box” platform. It allows civil servants with no technical background to build and deploy AI solutions. The system is designed to automate routine workflows, streamline service delivery, and reduce the need for external development support.

Officials positioned the launch as part of a broader push to make Abu Dhabi an “AI-native” government. This strategy aims to bring AI capabilities into day-to-day operations rather than leaving them confined to specialised teams.

TAMM AutoGov and Proactive Public Services

Alongside the no-code platform, the government introduced TAMM AutoGov, an AI-powered extension of its TAMM services. The system automates common citizen service requests and enables proactive public service delivery.

These upgrades mark a shift toward embedding AI in frontline government interactions, making services faster and more personalised.

AD.WE: Intelligent Energy and Water Management

The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy unveiled AD.WE, a platform that uses AI and predictive analytics to manage the emirate’s energy and water systems.

AD.WE is designed to improve grid stability, support renewable integration, and optimise resource use. It represents a core part of Abu Dhabi’s clean-energy strategy, aligning with its plans to lower carbon emissions and improve efficiency across utilities.

Partnerships with Cloud and Geospatial Leaders

To strengthen AD.WE, Abu Dhabi announced new strategic collaborations. Google Cloud will provide AI and machine learning tools to support renewable integration and energy forecasting.

The emirate is also working with geospatial and satellite partners, including SPACE42, to supply imagery and analytics for infrastructure and water-resource monitoring. These partnerships aim to make energy operations more data-driven and adaptive.

A Broad Showcase of Innovation

Abu Dhabi’s pavilion featured 55 projects and multiple strategic partnerships across sectors. Officials described the announcements as part of a long-term roadmap to embed AI in government, utilities, and infrastructure.

A Coordinated Strategy for Digital and Green Growth

The announcements at GITEX 2025 show that Abu Dhabi wants to democratise AI adoption across government through no-code tools and reinforce the energy transition with intelligent infrastructure.

This approach blends digital transformation with climate goals, positioning Abu Dhabi as a leading player in AI-enabled governance and sustainable energy development.
