Uktob.ai rebrands to Teammates.ai After Securing Key Funding Round to Transform Enterprise AI

In a significant move, UAE-based AI solutions provider Uktob.ai has rebranded to Teammates.ai following a successful funding round. The company raised an undisclosed amount from top-tier investors, including Hustle Fund, Access Bridge Ventures, Oraseya Capital, Beyond Capital, and several angel investors.

Founded in 2023 by Emad Ayyad and Kareem Ayyad, Teammates.ai delivers powerful AI-driven teammates to enterprises. These AI colleagues assist in tasks like customer support, email management, and more, across 50 languages. The company’s rebrand signifies a strategic shift, enabling it to provide enterprise-grade AI solutions that expand with each new AI teammate.

An AI Platform That Transforms How Businesses Work

Teammates.ai is transforming the way businesses operate. The platform now focuses on autonomous AI agents, or AI Teammates, that can handle entire job functions. The first of these Teammates, named Raya, launched in 2024 and specializes in customer service. Raya seamlessly manages voice calls, and inboxes, and integrates smoothly with existing software, making it a complete solution for customer support teams.

But that’s not all. Teammates.ai is also unveiling its second AI Teammate focused on Inside Sales. Designed to handle everything from lead generation to sales inquiries, this Teammate brings a level of language proficiency and integration that’s unmatched in the region. Each Teammate can understand and speak over 50 languages, including all Arabic dialects, setting a new standard for AI-powered communication in the MENA region.

Building a New AI Workforce

With the launch of Raya and the Inside Sales Teammate, Teammates.ai is taking the first step in a broader vision: building an AI-powered workforce that works alongside human teams.

The rebranding also signals the company’s deeper commitment to AI excellence. Teammates.ai has a proven track record of successful partnerships with five leading governmental entities in the GCC. Notably, the company spearheaded the world’s largest Prompt Engineering Championship in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation, the Artificial Intelligence Office, and the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs.

Moreover, the company earned recognition as one of the Future100 companies by the UAE’s Ministry of Economy. This impressive track record led Teammates.ai to secure backing from high-profile venture capitalists, including Silicon Valley’s Hustle Fund, Access Bridge Ventures, Oraseya Capital, and Beyond Capital.
