1 Billion Followers Summit 2025

The 1 Billion Followers Summit, scheduled for January 11-13, 2025, in Dubai, is set to be the first and largest event in digital content creation. It will bring together thousands of content creators, industry leaders, and influencers from around the globe to discuss the latest trends, strategies, and innovations shaping the future of digital media. With over 15,000 attendees and an impressive lineup of speakers, this summit promises to be a pivotal gathering for anyone involved in the digital content space.

Hosted by the New Media Academy, this third edition of the summit aims to bring together over 15,000 attendees, including more than 5,000 content creators and 250+ speakers, making it one of the largest gatherings of its kind. 

Event Overview

The summit will be held across iconic venues in Dubai, including The Emirates Towers, The Museum of the Future, and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). 

These locations symbolize Dubai’s commitment to innovation and its growing status as a global hub for creators, further supported by initiatives like the $40.8 million Creators HQ Fund.

Keynote Speakers and Participants

The summit boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including renowned content creators and industry leaders such as:

Germán Garmendia: With 171.9 million followers, Germán is a prominent content creator known for his engaging videos.

Zach King: A digital magician with 175.3 million followers, famous for his creative short videos.

Asala Maleh: A content creator with 28.8 million followers, recognized for her lifestyle and beauty content.

Airrack: A rising star in the content creation world with 17 million followers.

Marina Mogilko: An entrepreneur and content creator with 18 million followers, known for her insights into business and language learning.

Men With the Pot: Content creators with 18.5 million followers, famous for their outdoor cooking videos.

Ahmed Al Basheer: A content creator with 22.5 million followers, known for his satirical news show.

Petri Rajahalme: Founding Partner at FOV Ventures, bringing expertise in venture capital and technology.

Paul Robert Cary: Co-Founder & CEO of It Just Works, with insights into tech innovations.

Melissa Laurie: Managing Director at Oysterly, specializing in digital media strategies.

Summit Tracks

The event is structured into three specialized tracks, allowing attendees to tailor their experience:

Technology Track: Focuses on the latest technological advancements shaping content creation, including AI applications, new media tools, and future digital platforms.

Content Track: Centers on the journeys, challenges, and success stories of content creators, covering best practices, content strategies, and audience engagement techniques.

1B Award and 1B Pitches

A highlight of the summit is the 1B Award, offering a $1 million prize to content creators driving positive societal change. The selection panel has shortlisted 10 candidates, with the winner to be announced on January 13, 2025. 

Additionally, the 1B Pitches session provides a platform for startups and creators to present innovative ideas to top investors and industry experts, fostering opportunities for mentorship and investment.
