Yalla Group to Open Riyadh Headquarters, Expanding Saudi Operations

Yalla group moves to Riyadh

Yalla Group, the leading social networking and gaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced plans to open its regional headquarters in Riyadh by the first half of 2026. The new office will be located at Roshn Front and will serve as the central base for managing the company’s operations across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region.

The announcement follows a meeting between Yalla’s leadership and Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation. The decision aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ongoing push to attract international firms through its regional headquarters programme and Vision 2030 economic diversification plan.

Why Riyadh Now

Saudi Arabia’s digital and entertainment sectors are rapidly expanding, creating favourable conditions for global players like Yalla Group. The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative continues to prioritise technology, gaming, and creative industries as key drivers of a post-oil economy.

Riyadh’s incentives for companies establishing regional headquarters, such as tax benefits and preferential access to government contracts, have already attracted hundreds of multinational firms. Yalla’s decision signals growing confidence in the Saudi market and its digital ecosystem.

A Boost for Saudi’s Digital Ambitions

For Saudi Arabia, Yalla’s presence supports its ambitions to become a global hub for gaming and digital entertainment. The move will likely accelerate job creation, foster local expertise, and strengthen the country’s position as a key player in the Middle East’s technology economy.

Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud praised Yalla’s decision, noting that it reflects international confidence in the Kingdom’s expanding digital ecosystem and creative industries.

A Strategic Bet on the Future

Yalla Group’s decision to establish its regional headquarters in Riyadh marks a clear commitment to the Saudi market and the broader Gulf. It demonstrates confidence in the region’s digital transformation and signals that the Kingdom is becoming a natural home for global tech firms.

As Saudi Arabia continues to open its doors to international innovation, Yalla’s expansion stands as both a business milestone and a symbol of the region’s growing role in shaping the global digital landscape.
