Milkstraw AI receives extra funding

MilkStraw AI, a UAE-based cloud optimisation startup, has secured $2 million in seed funding led by VentureSouq, with participation from Ibtikar Fund and M Capital. The round was completed in just 45 days, signalling strong investor confidence in the company’s product and vision.

What MilkStraw AI Does

Founded in 2023 by Jawad Shreim, MilkStraw AI uses artificial intelligence to automate cloud infrastructure cost management for startups. The platform promises businesses up to 75% savings on AWS costs by providing reserved instance pricing with on-demand flexibility.

Impressive Growth Metrics

The startup has demonstrated impressive traction, with over 100 startups now using its platform across fintech, SaaS, and technology sectors. Notable customers include Thndr, Maqsam, Ziina, Beyond Limits, and Zero. Most remarkably, the company reports zero customer churn over 16 months of operation.

Plans for Expansion

The fresh capital will fuel product development and regional expansion. MilkStraw AI is developing new features, including The Feed for real-time infrastructure monitoring, Right Sizing for resource optimization, and an AI-powered conversational interface that allows users to manage cloud infrastructure using natural language.

This seed round follows the company’s $600,000 pre-seed funding led by Flat6Labs in early 2025. With backing from VentureSouq and its new investors, MilkStraw AI plans to deepen its presence across the MENA region and expand into additional international markets.
