BYD is taking the lead with its groundbreaking Super EV platform, and along with it a new 1,000kW EV charging system that it says will charge an EV in 5 minutes, about as long as it takes a regular car to refuel.
BYD INNOVATION
BYD’s new battery and charging system was capable of providing 470 kilometers (292 miles) of range in 5 minutes in tests on its new Han L sedan, Chairman and founder Wang Chuanfu said Monday. The manufacturer will start selling vehicles with the new technology next month.
Ultra Fast Charging
BYD’s reinvented blade battery surges to full power in six minutes. It pulses with 1,000 volts and 1,000 amps. That’s 400 km of range infused in five minutes. “Range anxiety” dissolves forever.
BYD is erecting 4,000 supercharging stations. These hubs hoard energy and dispense high-power refuels with seamless precision.
BYD Reigns Begins
BYD is sculpting the future of EVs. With lightning-charged batteries, beastly motors, and precision-driven chips, it catapults the industry into uncharted territory. Can rivals keep pace? The clock is ticking.
