Sampo AI, an Oman-based SaaS startup specializing in AI-powered pricing solutions for e-commerce, has successfully raised $750,000 in pre-seed funding. This funding round is the largest pre-seed investment in Oman, showcasing strong confidence in the startup’s innovative approach to optimizing e-commerce pricing strategies.

The round was co-led by Omantel Innovation Labs and Waad VC, with additional support from Hexnture and a group of Saudi angel investors. The funds will support Sampo AI’s expansion into Saudi Arabia and the UAE, two rapidly growing markets in e-commerce and digital transformation.

Redefining E-Commerce Pricing with AI

Founded in July 2024 by Saif Al-Essai and Khalifa Manaa, Sampo AI provides advanced tools to help e-commerce businesses make smarter, data-driven pricing decisions.

The platform leverages artificial intelligence to:

  • Analyze user behavior and purchase patterns.
  • Conduct A/B testing to identify optimal pricing strategies.
  • Offer actionable insights with its proprietary database of 10 million regional products, helping businesses stay ahead in competitive markets.

These capabilities allow Sampo AI’s clients to boost profitability, adapt to market trends, and navigate challenges unique to the Middle Eastern e-commerce industry.

Driving Expansion Across the Region

The newly secured funding will enable Sampo AI to:

  1. Expand operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, tapping into high-growth e-commerce markets.
  2. Enhance its AI-powered tools to address regional challenges better and deliver improved client outcomes.

“We are incredibly proud to position Oman as a hub for innovation in the Middle East,” said Saif Al-Essai, Co-Founder and CEO of Sampo AI.

“This funding validates our mission and empowers us to redefine how e-commerce businesses approach pricing strategies. With the backing of Omantel, Waad VC, Hexnture, and visionary angel investors, we are ready to make a lasting impact in the region’s e-commerce ecosystem.”

Official Platform Launch and Unique Offers

In addition to securing funding, Sampo AI has officially launched its dynamic pricing platform. To encourage adoption, the company offers:

  • A 14-day free trial for new clients.
  • A Golden Guarantee: Clients are eligible for a full refund if not satisfied within 30 days after the trial.

This approach reflects Sampo AI’s commitment to building trust with its clients while delivering measurable results.

A Promising Future for Sampo AI

Sampo AI is well-positioned to transform how e-commerce businesses in the Middle East optimize their pricing strategies. As the company enters Saudi Arabia and the UAE, it aims to solidify its position as a leader in the region’s growing e-commerce ecosystem.
