NVIDIA’s Record $68B Quarter Is Creating High-Paying AI Jobs in the Gulf

NVIDIA announced its latest quarterly results on February 25, 2026, and the numbers are massive. The company made $68.1 billion in revenue for the three months ending January 25, 2026. That’s a big jump from last year and even from the previous quarter. For the whole year, they brought in $215.9 billion. They expect even more next quarter, around $78 billion.

The main reason is that AI is everywhere, and NVIDIA makes the chips that power it. Their data center business (the AI part) alone made $62.3 billion in the quarter and that’s over 91% of total sales and up 75% from last year.

CEO Jensen Huang said demand for their newest chips (Blackwell) is “off the charts”; companies like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon can’t get enough.

This isn’t just good for NVIDIA. It’s fueling a job explosion in AI and tech, especially in the Middle East’s rising hubs: Dubai and Riyadh. The Gulf is investing billions in AI to become global leaders, and NVIDIA’s success means more projects, more tech builds, and more jobs for people there. Let’s break it down simply.

Why Dubai & Riyadh Are AI Hotspots Right Now

Countries like the UAE and Saudi Arabia are putting huge money into AI to diversify from oil. They’re building their own data centers, AI models, and smart cities — and NVIDIA chips are at the heart of it all.

  • Dubai/Abu Dhabi (UAE): Groups like G42 and MGX are partnering with NVIDIA to build massive AI factories. The UAE has deals for hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA chips each year. Projects like Stargate UAE (a super AI cluster with OpenAI) are launching in 2026, all using NVIDIA tech. Khazna Data Centers is expanding with NVIDIA-certified setups.
  • Riyadh/NEOM (Saudi Arabia: HUMAIN (backed by the Public Investment Fund) is buying up to 500 MW of NVIDIA GPUs over five years, that’s thousands of chips for national AI. SDAIA (Saudi Data & AI Authority) is deploying 5,000 Blackwell GPUs. Vision 2030 ties this to smart cities, robotics, and more.

NVIDIA’s earnings show AI demand is still growing fast, so these Gulf projects are speeding up, creating a wave of new jobs.

The Job Opportunities This Creates

NVIDIA’s surge means more AI data centers and tech builds in the region, and that needs people to make it happen. Expect thousands of new roles in 2026, especially for locals, expats, and fresh graduates. Hiring is already up (UAE AI jobs grew 39% last year; Saudi 26%), and NVIDIA’s results will push it higher.

Top Roles in Demand (Starting in 2026):

  • AI/ML Engineers — Building and training AI models on NVIDIA chips.
  • Data Center & Cloud Engineers — Setting up and running NVIDIA-powered servers.
  • GPU Specialists — Experts in NVIDIA tech (like Blackwell or Hopper chips).
  • DevOps & Infrastructure Pros — Managing AI workflows and scaling systems.
  • Robotics & Digital Twins Experts — Saudi focus — using NVIDIA for virtual models of cities or factories.
  • AI Ethics/Governance Roles — Ensuring AI is safe and fair.

These aren’t just tech jobs — there’s room for software devs, analysts, and even entry-level support as companies like Microsoft, Google Cloud, and local startups expand.

Salaries & Perks in Dubai/Riyadh (Realistic 2026 Levels)

Jobs pay well because the region wants top talent — and it’s tax-free!

  • Entry/Mid-Level (e.g., junior AI engineer): AED 20,000–45,000/month in Dubai ($5,400–$12,200 USD) or SAR 18,000–40,000 in Riyadh ($4,800–$10,700 USD).
  • Senior/Lead (e.g., AI architect): AED 50,000–100,000+ or SAR equivalent (~$13,600–$27,200+ USD).

Perks — Free housing, flights home, health insurance, relocation packages, and NVIDIA training/certifications often paid for. Many roles are remote-friendly or hybrid.

Where to look: G42 careers (Abu Dhabi), HUMAIN/SDAIA (Riyadh), LinkedIn for “NVIDIA AI jobs UAE/Saudi”, or local tech hubs like Dubai Internet City or Riyadh Tech Valley.

Challenges to Keep in Mind

  • Competition is fierce (global talent + expats).
  • Need for upskilling: NVIDIA certifications (free online courses on their site) or cloud AI (AWS/Azure + NVIDIA) give a big edge.
  • Chip shortages: NVIDIA can’t make enough, so some projects are delayed but Gulf deals get priority.

Bottom Line

NVIDIA’s $68B quarter proves AI isn’t slowing down, it’s speeding up, and Dubai & Riyadh are grabbing the opportunity. This means more high-paying AI/tech jobs in 2026, from engineering to governance, as the Gulf builds its own AI future.

If you’re in the Middle East (or thinking of moving), now’s the time to skill up on NVIDIA tech. It could be your ticket to the next big thing.
