MilkStraw AI, an AI-driven cloud cost optimization startup, has raised $600,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate its expansion into the MENA region. The funding round was led by Flat6Labs, with participation from Angel Spark, Beyond Capital, and a roster of prominent angel investors.

Simplifying Cloud Cost Management for Businesses

Founded in the US in 2024 by Jawad Shreim, MilkStraw AI is transforming how businesses manage their cloud infrastructure costs. The platform automates cloud cost optimization, freeing up valuable engineering resources for innovation and product development.

“Companies shouldn’t waste valuable engineering time manually optimizing cloud costs when they could be building products and driving innovation,” said Jawad Shreim, CEO of MilkStraw AI. “Our platform automates this process, allowing teams to focus on what truly matters creating impact through their core business.”

Since its launch in April 2024,   MilkStraw AI has already onboarded hundreds of clients, including top regional players like Magnitt, Voltlines, Netwatch, Floranow, MakanE, and IdenTV.

Backed by Top Industry Experts

The pre-seed funding attracted significant interest from seasoned tech leaders and entrepreneurs, signaling confidence in MilkStraw AI’s potential. Notable angel investors in this round include:

Karim Chouikri, Former CEO of Emakina

Ghassan Halawa, Founder & CEO of Parachute16

Mahesh Murthy, Founder of Pinstorm

Imad Ghazareddine, Founder & CEO of Mamo

Hisham Abu Bakr, Founder & CEO of Dimitries

“MilkStraw AI’s approach to cloud cost optimization represents the future of infrastructure management,” said Mohanad Elhartany, Senior Investment Associate at Oraseya Capital and former Flat6Labs associate.

“Their rapid customer adoption and innovative technology platform demonstrate the significant market need for their solution. We’re excited to support their growth and vision for transforming how companies handle cloud costs.”

Driving Growth with Fresh Funding

With this funding, MilkStraw AI plans to:

  • Expand its market presence across the MENA region, tapping into the rising demand for efficient cloud management tools.
  • Expand its engineering and development teams to create advanced features and solutions.
  • Speed up product development, rolling out new tools to optimize the user experience.
  • Improve customer support services to meet the needs of its expanding client base.

A Promising Future in Cloud Optimization

MilkStraw AI is solving one of the most pressing problems faced by modern businesses: the complexity of managing cloud infrastructure costs. Its intelligent platform empowers companies to cut costs while redirecting resources toward innovation and growth.
