Egypt Innovation Week 2025 Puts Cairo at the Centre of Global Startup Growth

Egypt Innovation Week 2025 will take place from 29 September to 6 October. The event is set to become one of the largest gatherings of entrepreneurs, investors, academics, corporates, and policymakers in the region. With multiple flagship events across Cairo and Alexandria, it highlights Egypt’s growing role as a hub for innovation in the Middle East and Africa.

Scale and Reach

The event will host more than 60,000 attendees from over 70 countries. It will feature more than 400 speakers, 250 investors, and 1,500 startups. Attendees will engage in workshops, policy discussions, investor matchmaking, and sector-specific forums.

  • Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Egypt, will address the government’s digital transformation agenda.
  • Dr. Tarek Shawki, former Minister of Education and Technical Education, will share insights on education reform and edtech.
  • Ambassador Håkan Emsgård, former Swedish Ambassador to Egypt, will discuss international collaboration and global partnerships.
  • Fabio Lorenzon, Founder and CEO of SolutioAI, will present perspectives on artificial intelligence and European startup ecosystems.
  • Muhammad Nagi, Managing Director of WRK+, will explore trends in workspace innovation and entrepreneurial support.
  • Fady Ismaeel, Managing Director of AGX Consultant, will highlight digital transformation and governance.
  • Hani W. Naguib, author and mentor, will focus on the entrepreneurship mindset and founder development.
