500 Global and Sanabil Investments have launched the 10th edition of the Sanabil Accelerator, marking a major moment for a programme that has steadily shaped the early-stage landscape across the Middle East and North Africa. The new batch emerged from more than 700 applications, showing the rising interest in building in the region.
A Shift Towards Execution, Not Ideation
This cohort introduces a more rigorous model. The accelerator now emphasises execution, traction, and clear pathways to scale. The change reflects the maturity of founders entering today’s ecosystem. Many come with experience, previous ventures, and sharper expectations about global expansion.
The focus is no longer on teaching the basics of building a startup. It is on helping founders accelerate what they already know how to do.
A Cohort Built Around Clear Market Opportunities
Nine startups made the cut. Each brings a product shaped for real adoption and measurable growth:
-
Edufi offers flexible education payments.
-
Governata supports businesses adopting AI with stronger data governance.
-
Local enables fast, QR-based payments for physical locations.
-
Maison Safqa helps luxury brands convert idle inventory into discounted sales.
-
Raspire delivers no-code security tools for mobile apps.
-
Scenario X builds AI-driven financial risk models.
-
Seen AI improves brand visibility through search optimisation.
-
ShipTag helps e-commerce brands localise and expand globally.
-
WOW AI provides automation tools for online merchants.
These companies represent the sectors now shaping the next wave of growth in MENA: fintech, AI, e-commerce infrastructure, security, and brand technology.
A Rising Generation of Founders Ready for Global Markets
The accelerator reflects a shift in ambition across the region. Founders today aim to build beyond local borders. The backing of Sanabil and 500 Global provides access to operator experience, mentorship, and networks that support this ambition.
The coming Demo Day, scheduled for 17 December 2025, will highlight how far each startup has advanced during the programme.
A Programme That Continues to Shape the Ecosystem
The 10th batch reinforces the accelerator’s role in developing the region’s pipeline of scalable companies. As more founders attempt global expansion, the programme’s focus on execution, refined models, and faster iteration will become even more important.
Its success strengthens investor confidence and sets a higher standard for what early-stage support in the region should look like.
